This spring, Hidden Valley Yurts in beautiful Monmouthshire opened its doors to a handpicked group of outdoor and adventure influencers for a very special weekend. The aim was to showcase everything that makes the glamping site so unique including the authentic Mongolian yurts, surrounded by nature, immersive glamping and unforgettable experiences, while giving the influencers a chance to relax, recharge and share their journey with their audiences.
We shortlisted 10 incredible outdoor and adventure influencers, each with a passion for nature and exploring new destinations. They joined us for a complimentary weekend stay, with the only ask being that they share their stories, photos and experiences on social media and through feature articles.
From the moment our guests arrived, the Hidden Valley magic began. Each influencer was welcomed with a personalised goodie bag packed with treats and essentials for their stay. The weekend itinerary was carefully curated to give them the perfect balance of adventure and downtime.
From scenic hikes in the Wye Valley to gorge scrambling, storytelling walks to campfire evenings under the stars, the influencers enjoyed the natural beauty that surrounds the yurts. A shared dinner by a local caterer brought everyone together to connect, networ, and enjoy hearty local food in a relaxed, communal setting. Whether it was photographing the landscape, filming reels in the yurts or simply soaking in the peace of the valley, there was plenty of space for creativity and reflection.
The goal of this weekend was more than just giving away a free stay. We wanted authentic voices to tell the Hidden Valley Yurts story in their own words. Their content now lives on, introducing Hidden Valley Yurts to thousands of new potential guests through trusted, relatable storytelling.
The influencers have been busy sharing stunning images, videos and write-ups about their stay. From glowing Instagram videos to detailed blog reviews, the coverage has captured the charm of glamping in Monmouthshire better than any advert ever could.
We’re grateful to all the influencers who joined us and helped spread the word about our little hidden gem and we’re grateful to all the businesses who got involved, from the goodie bags to the organised events. The weekend was as much about building relationships and community as it was about promotion, and we can’t wait to run more events like this in the future.
