Working with the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail Trust at Beechenhurst

I’ve loved working with the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail Trust recently.

First installed in 1986 the whole trail is 4.5 miles and takes about 2.5-3 hours to walk, including plenty of stops to look at the sculptures along the way of course!

Place (known as The Giant’s Chair) by Magdalena Jetelova is the first sculpture on the trail and is iconic. After 29 years it is being decommissioned shortly and I’m supporting the Trust on a commemoration project called ‘A Sense of Place’.

I’ve been a regular visitor to the trail for many years and used to live just up the road from it. It’s a wonderful part of the Forest of Dean to explore.
