Full rebrand delivered for a leading mental health charity

Rebrand for Gloucestershire mental health charity 2025 Case Study Cover

Let’s Talk Well officially launched their new name and brand identity recently and I’m so proud to have played a part in making it happen.

For over 30 years they served young people as TIC+ / Teens in Crisis. However, they came to realise that their name had, in some cases, become a barrier to young people accessing their services, perceiving it as only serving teenagers in crisis. For 12 months they worked closely with young people, parents, staff, commissioners and a design agency to develop a new name and brand identity that truly reflected their mission.

My role was to plan and manage the rollout of the rebrand, from mapping out the project timeline and coordinating with departments, agencies and staff, to overseeing the website rebuild, updating accounts and preparing launch communications. It was a big job, but one I felt really connected to, because the heart of this project was always about making it easier for young people to get the help they need.

On 14 April 2025 we put the new website live, updated all the social media handles and branding and BBC Points West were on site filming and interviewing. Hearing people say the new name felt more approachable was exactly the outcome we were working towards.

This project has been months in the making, and seeing everything go live felt like a huge milestone. The rebrand wasn’t just about a new logo or colours, it was about making sure that every young person in Gloucestershire, aged 9-25, feels included and welcome when they reach out for support. The challenge was to deliver a full rebrand, including renaming, website redesign, social media updates, stakeholder and staff communications, while ensuring the new identity was inclusive, safe and engaging for young people, their families and partner organisations.

For me, this project showed how much impact a name and identity can have. It’s about trust, accessibility and making sure no one feels left out. I’m grateful I could contribute to such meaningful work and I’m excited to see how Let’s Talk Well continues to support young people and families over the coming years.

About Let’s Talk Well: Let’s Talk Well (formerly TIC+ / Teens in Crisis) have been supporting young people and their families in Gloucestershire since 1993, becoming a registered charity in 1994. Last year, 4,000 children, young people and families used their free counselling and mental health support services to help them cope.
