The decor in this holiday home made my job easy. With rich fabrics, beautiful wallpaper and thoughtful touches throughout, every room had the quality and attention to detail you’d hope for.

Following a number of recent upgrades, the owners needed new photography to showcase all their hard work. It’s always satisfying to photograph a place where so much care has gone into the details, and the challenge is making sure those touches come across in the images.

Spring is a busy season for photographing holiday accommodation, as owners look to improve their websites, listings and social media. While my focus is capturing everything the property has to offer, I also want to highlight the little things that make it unique. Sometimes it’s the interior design, sometimes it’s the view and sometimes it’s a small feature that the owner has carefully chosen to help guests feel at home.

Those are the details I look for when I’m shooting a property, so I can make sure I capture everything that makes it special.
